A sort of parent that lives in the states. I’d guess they are trying to balance datasets that are full of data where they’ve been paying fifty cents to scan children’s faces, outside of the country. There’s nothing particularly nefarious here. Human civilization is building AI and it’s built with the best that humanity can give and the best that can be afforded.
