FTA: I’m turning 30 and I’ve produced no amazing art. Shit. There are •millions• of people who feel this way. I was one of them at age 42. I was in retail for 25 years until the Great Recession, and though I could achieve $35 an hour in malls at Xmas (and later, RadioSnack), it was unfulfilling. ——> After the age of fifty, I leveraged my talent to create a public persona that created Comedy and Music, while showing people they actually have Superpowers (abilities they had no idea they possessed). Doing this in front of theater lines, I managed to hit $50/hr. fairly consistently, albeit not full time…however it is extremely fulfilling and my art is appreciated.
