Wouldn't it behoove a subversive to be, well, subversive? Meeting in one spot, known to be a place where subversives meet sounds like a coup for any org wanting to keep track of associations even before an article in vice let everyone know.
- aspenmayer 3y agoConsidering the cafe was started by a working journalist, I consider the inverse benefit of plausible deniability combined with the cafe being the perfect coworking space for yourself that you just happen to own and share with the public. I can think of better environs/arrangements as a patron or subversive in which to meet, possibly, but by branding the cafe in such a way, it almost feels like a dual-use LARP, which could be particularly useful to a working journalist.
