I became severely burnt out doing a job that had a lot of meaning, both to me and the people around me and the greater local community. The burn out came from the constant struggle / conflict in achieving the objectives.
My point being, I think burn out can come from a number of different sources.
- henry2023 3y agoI couldn’t agree more and I hope you find yourself in a better spot now. I personally met nurses who burned out during Covid and it’s clear that what they do matters. My point is more against the hypothesis of burn out being caused by cognitive demanding tasks.
