“Study finds evidence of entangled electrons behaving like a fluid”
When are these nerds going to get it? Nothing is solid. Everything’s a fluid. Everything is just a cloud of probability that our minds collapsing into an imagine certainty.
- gumby 3y agoAs opposed to “behaving like discrete particles” Neither statement claims that electrons form a fluid or move through a solid as particles they simply say that when thinking about charge behavior in either of these two regimes, one’s intuition of particles (or a fluid) can be useful. It’s no different from photons: nobody claims they are an actually absolutely particles or waves (or exclusively one or the other) but rather that one can reason about them using either wave or particle mechanics depending on the situation.
- wsintra2022 3y agoWho are these nerds anyway? Gotta admit; although your comment was crass and it was really funny.
- gaze 3y agoWhat are you even talking about? In many materials, the electrons absolutely don’t behave like a fluid.
