If you want to experience a clean and performant Windows, install Windows 7. I run it on a VM.
Windows 7 on a 10 year old computer is better than Windows 10 on a new. So sad for the history of the dominant OS.
- conradfr 3y agoIt's great but Firefox is on life support on it. Chrome is not updated anymore, and basically all development languages and tools as well so Windows 10 is the best choice in the short/medium term.
- intrasight 3y agoYeah. I'm not saying that I use it. But I still have a VM with some old software and when I use it, I am reminded of the saying "what Intel giveth, Windows takes away"
