My 20 something sister with no kid watches it.
- propter_hoc 3y agoHere's an archive link: https://archive.is/ArnbD https://archive.is/ArnbD Pretty much spot on, it has a couple funny quotes like the Bluey episode about a cricket match beating the ratings of the actual cricket match, and how the ABC (Australia's BBC) gave the international rights to the British BBC (which was a rather colossal mistake).
- zellyn 3y agoAgreed. It's also just beautiful.
- I_Am_Nous 3y agoI love Bluey. I was raised with Heeler dogs so that was major for my initial openness to the show. I may like the show more than my son does even!
- meristohm 3y agoThat's been my experience; my spouse and I watched three seasons of Bluey, maybe 80% after our child went to bed. It's a visual parenting manual.
- sheepscreek 3y ago> It's a visual parenting manual. Haha - this is what I told someone the other day. Brandon (Bluey’s dad) is a source of inspiration for me. I’ve put his lighthearted parenting tricks to work with much success!
- lotsofpulp 3y agoBluey’s dad’s name is Bandit.
- hipadev23 3y agoPaul, haha, that’s a person name!
- imp0cat 3y agoLike the game of silence, right? That's pure gold! "Now let's see if you can stay silent until you turn 13." :D
- unwind 3y agoIn Sweden he is called Billy, probably because "bandit" means gangster/thug/criminal, kinda. Most other names of main characters are unchanged, I think. We really love Bluey.
