This type of stuff is so stupid it’s hard to even think about. You can’t “shutdown” something that is already illegal. Fix the legal system yes. I’ve been through it and it fucking sucks. It is dehumanizing and hurts both the applicants and the nation at the same time. Asylum is legal immigration. Make it also not a completely fucked up process. While we’re at it, legalize and regulate drugs to end the gang wars driving innocent people out of South and Central America. The only point to this shit is to pit the underclasses against each other. Same as it ever was.
