Ukrainian scientists are tallying the consequences of the Kakhovka Dam disaster
- iottt 3y agoThe Kakhovka Dam has been directing water to the canal that supplies Crimea. By blowing up the dam, the water level fell too low and cannot supply Crimea with water anymore. During the first year of the war the Russians retreated from Kherson because they were expecting Ukraine to blow up the dam and cut them off.
