>How well do you think traditional college programs are keeping up with the fast-paced evolution of technology? On the whole, technology is evolving a lot more slowly than it used to. For example, programming in 1980 was a lot more different to programming in 1990 than programming in 2024 is to programming in 2014. These days it's just about feasible to use a ten year old desktop as a dev machine, which would have been pretty much unthinkable in the 80s, 90s or 2000s. So I don't think college education is going to have some kind of new problem of keeping up with the evolution of technology. That problem has already peaked (in tech at least).
