In a couple of years pretty much any "photo" online could be fake. Heck, phones are now sold on the basis of the fake images you can take with them. Generative AI has come for pretty much everything.
- scheeseman486 3y agoIf you've been looking at photos on the internet with the assumption they haven't been manipulated over the last few decades, that's mostly a poor showing of your own media literacy. Before this it was photoshop, before that it was airbrushing. A grid of arbitrarily colored dots alone has never been absolute proof of anything.
