Show HN: 10 years later, I've revamped GamePad Viewer, check it out
First post here though I’ve lurked around on and off few a few years. The original tool started as a weeklong winter project my first semester of college and it’s been a widely used controller overlay ever since.
With the release of beta, me and a friend are looking to turn GPV into something more, and we’re happy to hear any feedback the HN community has

- chrisrodrig1 3y agoIt’s a web-based tool for showing GamePad device inputs visually. For example, a speed runner would use it to show their inputs while they were breaking a world record.
- XCSme 3y agoWhy would a local tool like this need a login system? Isn't it just a JavaScript file?
- bosch_mind 3y agoAy mate. In the flood of info on the web today, the average attention span is a measly like 5 seconds. Your landing page is a black screen with a sign up button and no info. I’d hate for your hard work to go unnoticed, but it’s not a captivating welcome page
