I am in a similar situation. Worked at Microsoft, left, stuck with Windows through 10, now am a mix of MacOS and Linux. I hated MacOS, and still do mainly because of the Window management, but after using it for work and the hardware being so much better for me than anything I could find PC I finally switched. My desktop is still Linux. Most of the people I know switched to Mac which is how I know I am in a bubble.
