  That option already exists in the EU. Meta asks for 10 EUros/month in exchange for no ads. Guess how many people pay versus choose to have ads? Most people by a landslide choose the ads, because they don't see the value in paying cash to use social media. Please, enlightne me with your arguments then. Most likely when Copilot addoption gets big enough, ad free paid tiers will also pop up for those users who find it valuable, but until then it's easier to get mass adoption of a service by only having a free tier as paying money upfront for a yet unfamilar service puts off most users. That's what you don't understand.
