But if you manage to progress the game so far that the developers didn't take that behavior into account or just couldn't with the hardware they had. So then the game becomes unable to make the player game over. So essentially that is then the end of the game, when it crashes. And then you finished it. That is the philosophy behind this. You can still get a higher high score before crashing it and have other achievements. But as far as beating the game by not going game over I think that goal has been reached.
