Few adults are interested in trying "lab-grown" meat

- cf1241290841 3y agoI wonder more and more why we even go down that path. "Like meat" is hitting the consistency more and more and you can create the flavor artificially. See thought emporium for "chicken flavored soup" on that. Recipe for diy https://youtu.be/sR8M4zARBXY?t=740 https://youtu.be/sR8M4zARBXY?t=740
- haltist 3y agoIf you want lab grown meat then you should learn about "immortalization". Basically you are better off cutting back meat consumption and getting your protein from healthy plant sources because lab grown meat, although technically more ethical, is just as unsustainable as regular factory farmed meat.
- transfire 3y agoI’m looking forward to it.
- iancmceachern 3y agoTo me this is like imitation bacon bits. For whatever weird reason, when I was growing up qw only had those fake imitation bacon bits in our house. My palate was trained that that was what was baseline, and real bacon bits were weird. It took me 10 years of being a rel adult before now when I expect bacon bits, and imitation bacon bits are weird. Point is, at some point we can just remove the imitation and bacon part and just say bits. They should just sell these as vegetable patties, vegetable tubes of goo. I would buy that. I won't be buying this.
