Almost completely broken on Firefox 121/Mac OS. I was wondering what the fuss was about because it was just a mess. But threw it up on chrome, and looks completely different... Also there is a weird latency thing if you hold the direction key down and then switch to the other direction.

Works perfectly for me on Firefox 121 on Mac OS (although maybe it was fixed after you commented?).

  No, I don't think so. However, when I loaded it in a new firefox profile it worked fine. A little confused because I tried running it with dev tools loaded and cache disabled and I still had the problem, but I have to think that the problem has something to do with adblock/privacy badger and some stored data. But maybe disable cache doesn't apply to the local storage API.
