Jobs are harder to get. Lots of people flooding the market after lay offs. I have 3 positions so far that I went deep into interviews and then it was - there is no budget for the position - it is cancelled, maybe next year.
Pay is also inching lower.
- the_only_law 3y agoThis happened to me a lot on the other side. I’d apply for a job, hear nothing, assume I got screened out and then months later get an email saying “oops we aren’t hiring anyone for this role anymore”.
