I would suggest switching to Meson instead of CMake.
- janice1999 3y agoHow well does Meson handle complex cross-platform projects nowadays with multiple compilers? My team tried Meson about ~3yrs ago for an embedded system. We ended up moving to CMake instead after struggling to use it for armclang.
- actionfromafar 3y agoIt’s better, but I believe link options still is controlled a little too much by meson magic.
- Brian_K_White 3y agoI would suggest neither of those, nor ninja nor anything but make. Whatever sucks about a simple/shallow stack, what sucks about tall fat stacks is worse.
