In that sense the goals of the two projects are orthogonal but complementary. A similar example would be Adafruit, https://github.com/adafruit/Adafruit_CAD_Parts https://github.com/adafruit/Adafruit_CAD_Parts. In fact there are many such repos out their that are very useful but in their own islands.
