I'm having trouble parsing that. Are they questioning the existence of planets, or of magnetic fields?
- ben_w 3y agoI read it as asking if any specific planet has an associated magnetic field.
- denton-scratch 3y agoI discounted that interpretation, because the planet we are standing on evidently does have a magnetic field.
- ben_w 3y agoHowever Venus, Mars, and Pluto do not.

- mecsred 3y agoI read it as: for any given planet, if that planet has a magnetic field, how does that magnetic field exist.
