Ask HN: No "Light Mode" for an App?

Is not offering a "light mode" anti-user? I am building an iPhone app. I run in dark-mode on my iPhone 100% of the time and I think the app looks funny in white. If I were to ship it with a dark mode only - is that as bad as if I were to ship an app and not offer a dark mode?
