Fix your shitty attitude. Try to see opportunities in what is in front and around you, and not as blockers. You are privileged to attend that university - endulge your professor one time and rather ask him afterwards for possible different methods going forward. I guarantee you most professors and academics don't go out of their way to be "difficult" but rather want to streamline their processes, for whatever reason. You are 22 and you are still pretty green - keep that in mind and be humble.
