Brillouin Zone
- PaulHoule 3y agoReminds me of taking the intro graduate class in solid state w/ Neal Ashcroft and then being the grader for Chris Henley’s advanced course for the first time which is a lot like being a student except you have to solve all the problems correctly. An awful lot of calculations in condensed matter physics are a matter of figuring out how electrons and phonons are packed in the Brillouin zone.
