- hef19898 3y agoA quick spurce tinred up this root cause: clogged sun roof drainage. Quite different from water running into the car in heavy rain or in a car wash. That being said, despite being leagues ahead of Tesla, or US brands in general, German premium car build quality is not what theor reputation would make people think.
- cantSpellSober 3y agoAgreed, the faulty drain design caused the issue. Similar to the BMW cupholders that couldn't get wet without damaging electrical parts. https://www.courthousenews.com/bmw-cupholders-not-designed-to-hold-cups-filled-with-liquid-according-to-class-action-lawsuit/ https://www.courthousenews.com/bmw-cupholders-not-designed-t... So again, do those faulty designs mean that BMW is a startup?
- hef19898 3y agoThe fact the Tesla isn't a start-up anymore makes it even worse. And yes, BMW having those issues is embarrasing as well.
- cantSpellSober 3y agoOh I didn't realize you were a different poster hah, my mistake, apologies. We agree Tesla isn't a start-up anymore.
