Let’s be real: some will never sell. For the rest: There’s a demographic that has strong skills in marketing and management but does not have skills in ideation/creation (or maybe they just find that part boring). For them it’s great to be able to buy a business with some traction, spend a few months making it more profitable and then either sitting on the MRR after they make their money back, or flip it and sell it for some multiple.
