When we were in startup / small business mode we had a founder who was absolutely incredible at turning customer feedback into actionable and well thought out “actually here’s a better solution” He was out shortly after the acquisition, and now we get videos emailed to us by corporates UX team of them asking the worlds most inept users how things should work and given changes based directly on this feedback. I swear agreeing to be in a test group is self selecting for people who don’t understand the most basic UI metaphor. It’s frankly been a race to the bottom.
