For the benefit of younger devs, I'd like to add that this is a rookie sales mistake that indicates lack of software sales experience.

- passwordoops 3y agoDefinitely not a rookie mistake but quite common. Especially if a competitor has X. Then it's up to sales to convince the client they don't need X, which makes it an even tougher proposition than if they just asked for X in a vacuum
