adb is indeed useful. I can use adb inside a HyperV Win11 guest OS and have it communicate to my Host Win11's Windows Subsystem for Android and run test android apps in the host OS. I like this approach as it doesn't pollute my host OS with development tools, while using Microsoft WSA for simplicity. All I need to do is some virtual networking fu via 'netsh interface portproxy' inside both guest OS and host OS.
