My partners father chose to leave this way after a long and very painful cancer. Under no circumstances can anybody do assisted suicide without proper medical and mental assistance. The police will check by as well in switzerland and verify. Not giving people the chance to choose how to end a painful and hurtful time is just cruel. The process is already self-induced if the patient is still able to do so.
