Well I definetly think there is a contradiction of too absurdities here, because if I read your book how could you forbid me to tell my friend about it?

- golol 3y agoBut telling my friend about it is the production and transfer of a copy to a third party, just with a certain amount of information loss.
- supertimor 3y agoYou can try and rephrase it as much as you like, but that’s just not how copyright works. And even if copyright somehow did work that way, you are not making any financial gain by telling your friend about a book so it would still not even be considered infringing on copyright. Of course copyright law is going to look absurd when you make up absurd scenarios that have no relevance to the actual law.
