  He isn't kidding. The Scientologists believe that Xenu, their equivalent to the Devil, solved overpopulation by putting all of his unwanted citizens on this planet, blew up the volcanoes with nukes to kill everyone, and then take all of their souls (they believe in reincarnation, and its an integrated part of Xenu's governance, ie, dying doesn't absolve you of debts and contracts) to movie theaters to show them a story about God and Jesus (as if other religions don't exist; total hate boner for Christianity). Oh, and he flew all the people to Earth using ships that looked like DC8s. They do, because all of our souls remember the incident and the PTSD is forever etched on our souls. Also, mental illness doesn't exist, its actually the souls that weren't powerful enough to inhabit human bodies, and try to ride along and fuck us up. It's insane.
