This is what you get when you import 250k migrants a year but only build 50k houses a year.
Half the cost of a new house is taxes to build all associated infrastructure up front, rather start with a minimum and fund upgrades from council rates.
To all this add the trade union political party where all policy is aimed at increasing trade union control.
Currently our breeding stock can’t afford a deposit on a home but are forced to fund build-to-rent for other people.
Home loans are majority variable rate, non-recourse. 12% of every pay packet goes into a compulsory superannuation fund they can’t access until they’re 70, run by 50% trade union directors. These funds are investing in build-to-rent housing.
