Just keep in mind that the financial system is very locked down in South Korea. Foreigners have very limited access to Korean bank accounts while crypto exchange accounts are completely banned even for permanent residents.
- huimang 3y agoMy assumption would be visa-holders will be able to open a bank account. Otherwise it doesn't really make sense.
- injeolmi_love 3y agoYou can open a bank account, but the daily limits are low.

- make3 3y agomaybe a naive question, but do international credit cards not just work? if you aren't getting paid locally, it shouldn't matter too much?
- victords 3y agoI'd imagine not everything can be paid on a credit card. E.g.: Rent.
- Detrytus 3y agoPaying rent by credit card is common in the civilized world. The only exception I know is the US, where I had to use paper checks, as if we're still stuck in 19th century...
