No problem in France - the generic term for Velcro here is 'scratch'.
- entropie 3y agoKlettverschluss in germany. Klett comes from Arctium a plant with similar features (I guess) and verschluss is like the english term fastener or clasp.
- dvh 3y agoSuchý zips in Slovak (lit. Dry zipper)
- jraph 3y agoMany people in France say velcro though.
- NikkiA 3y agoWhich is ironic given 'velcro' is a deliberate portmanteau of 'velours crochet'
