For a moment I thought this was about the Quiraing on Skye in Scotland. My friends and I climbed it using Google maps, which ended up in us climbing some parts with hands and feet. When we realised we were off the path we made sure to avoid dangerous parts and make the best of it. On the way down we could clearly see the normal path, while on the way up we took a path made by animals. The algorithm had recognised this path in the satellite images and steered us in that direction.
