Mozilla Corporation is not a non-profit. It engages in many business relationships and brings in about half a billion dollars a year. How much should the founder-CEO of a 25 year old company with half a billion a year in revenue be making?
- dougmwne 3y agoNo, the Mozilla Corporation is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Mozilla Foundation. It’s a paper vehicle for their activities not permitted under their 501(c)(3) status. Many nonprofits run a 501(c)(4) in a similar way to separate their non-permitted lobbying activities.
