Unsourced and non-specific disparagement might be the reason for the downvotes here. People like to read posts that make them feel they have a better understanding of the world rather than a particular poster's political viewpoints. I think including either sources or specifics (e.g. a specific statement he's made or what sort of "sexism" or "racism" he indulges in) would result in less downvotes.
