Saw an article on Reuters about LIDAR and wanted to see what the state of the tech actually was. Found out they've actually got some really neat looking rendering technologies. This example being a cartoonized, cell-shaded equivalent of LIDAR point cloud scan. There's a bunch of other examples, just did not want to make an ad for a certain company. The examples of cars driving around with waves of LIDAR are actually rather beautiful.
