From my findings it’s been a lot easier to insert data into SQLite first and then proceed them for time-series queries or extensive aggregation in DuckDB.
Especially the WAL mode by SQLite is really performant.
- jasonjmcghee 3y agoI appreciate the perspective. I’m currently bouncing around a similar decision myself and have used SQLite and DuckDB both, and there’s something about DuckDB that i just like better (roadmap, features, range requests), but trying to understand the full picture
