I'm not the target market for a video course -anyway- but it wouldn't surprise me if that price point results in "fewer sales than a lower price but similar revenue and a more pleasant discord due to student investment" or so. Who knows.

I'm sure it works for some people - you can see a ton of testimonials on the website - I guess I'm just not the target audience.
