It would be nice to have a nice principled answer to this, but unfortunately, in our world, the answer is probably: if you start making LOTS of money doing this, they will come after you.
- doctorpangloss 3y agoThe best example is that sport scores, names and stats are not copyrightable by settled case law; however, you still have to go to the NBA and players union if you want to make a fantasy basketball game that has stats or names.
