Great writing, and a nice start to an original idea. But just like the shiny gadgets at the store, this article only lasts long enough for us to drive it home, then falls apart. So it’s all worthless trash, all junk, all a bit depressing, and so, so what? What should we do about it? How should we live our lives in response? In what should we find value when the objects that fill our lives are devalued? Maybe it’s even a good thing? I’m not sure we need more seductive iGarbage in our lives, distracting from the only things that matter. Maybe the next visit to Amazon will tell you what that is.
