We need to move away from coal as soon as we can. Coal is worst CO2 pollutant and not that energy dense. Move to a mixture of wind, solar, geothermal, hydro, nuclear - whatever makes sense. When the last coal powered plant is shut off in US, we should celebrate that as a day off for everyone.
