The permissive Free Software licenses do the same, being the same licenses.
- emodendroket 3y agoI'd guess this is meant to be a contrast between the GPL and licenses like MIT?
- dllthomas 3y agoYeah, definitely. I just think it's worth noting that both organizations approve of basically the same list of licenses, and that even the FSF occasionally recommends using a permissive license depending on circumstance.
