I know they're pricey, but when I lived in a subtropical rain forest for 7 years (in a decaying 100+ year old cabin) the solution to termites/roaches/mold ended up being running three dedicated dehumidifiers (~2000sqft). This cost me hundred$, annually, but was absolutely worthwhile. Diatomaceous Earth will also kill anything, including fleas/bedbugs/ticks.
