It's generally frowned upon to try and exploit the HN community purely for business, in particular recruitment where recruiters are dime a dozen.
Look for the monthly "Who wants to be hired?" and "Who's hiring?" submissions.
- paulcole 3y agoTo be fair this site is a content marketing campaign for a VC firm. If somebody wants to exploit that purely for business, all power to them IMO.
- chrisrtosi 3y agoI appreciate the directness of this reply. And to be honest, it's a shame recruiting gets a bad rep. Can only speak for myself, but I love what I do and take my role seriously. I've hired great AI engineers and Dev/SecOps individuals from here, so to me.... even though I'm not creating or saving lives, I do feel I make a difference in that persons life. Just my honest thoughts.
