AOT can be besten by optimizing JIT.
In this case you basically have a server a long running process that does the same code many many times.
If you're careful of memory allocations, the JVM may be able to beat this.
I just skim the article. Is the essential of this article just being able to call fast language x from slow language y, except for trendy languages Z and R?
