Hospital Price Gaps Show Just How Broken the $4.5T US Health Market Is
- gus_massa 3y ago> When a baby is about to arrive, every minute counts. Yet when Jen Villa of Salinas, California, was in labor, she and her partner drove 45 minutes in the middle of the night, bypassing nearby hospitals to reach one they could afford. Unless there is a problem, that happnes only in the movies. IRL for the first baby there are like 2 days of sparse contractions, and even when there is a contraction every 10 minutes there are like 4 hour more until the baby goes out. Talk to your medical doctor for details, but remember that movies are not an accurate representation of reality.
- shagymoe 3y agoAre you serious? Every pregnancy doesn't follow the precise set of rules you've laid out here. What an arrogant comment.
- gus_massa 3y agoDo you have children? If you do, can you share a timeline to compare? If you don't, remember to get medical advice from a real medical doctor, not from movie tropes or random internet comments.
