    For Germany I see a draft law dated 3 November 2023 so it’s likely a couple of months out. Every country has their own legislative process to add EU regulations into local law.

  When we replace our kindles, it's not impossible every device will be usb-c in my household. Older pi aside. (In Oz) I'd be delighted if this form factor had a good long life. Yes, I understand data signals over time will vary but for my power needs usb-c is just fine. This is consumer friendly regulation.
